Chili Cook-Off
The United Methodist Men are hosting a Chili Cook-Off this Sunday, January 29. Bring your best pot of chili to share, along with the fixin's you prefer. Vote for the best chili by putting your money where your mouth is and putting donations in the jar for your favorite. The chili that raises the most money, wins! All proceeds benefit BSA Troop 69.

North District Training

Training for all leaders of the church is on February 4. Registration begins at 8:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church. Delia Halverson will be teaching us about Christian Education and leading people in their discipleship.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner

The Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage . . . and Chicken Dinner is on March 16. Come share the good food, good music, and dancing. Adult tickets are $10 and children are $5. Tickets are available Sunday morning or during the week through the Church Office.

Don Nations Training

The next Training with Don Nations will be May 14 at 7 pm. Everyone involved in the leadership of the church, or who would like to be, is invited to attend this entertaining and informative training session. Coaching is the following day.

Relevance X

Relevance X is a conference for young adults from February 17-20. Held at University UMC, Relevance X draws young adults from all over the US and seeks to empower these important leaders of our church.
In conjunction with Relevance X, Griffith UMC is hosting an Impact Las Vegas site. We will be cleaning up Leavitt Park, located near the corner of Eastern and Sahara. To learn more about Impact Las Vegas, and to sign up to help, go to impactlasvegas2012.org.
